Makes me sick!

I just threw up as a reaction to how the 49ers have played this season. Incredible disappointment, for a team with high expectations, talented players, who aren't  being developed to reach their potential. The 49ers coaching personnel have been nothing short of an epic failure.
Head coach Mike Singletary has proven he doesn't have the mental capacity to be a head coach, or even a coordinator in the national football league. The ownership is careless to have hired their 3rd consecutive rookie head coach with minimal experience and absolutely no proven philosophies to outsmart opposing teams.

Speaking of teams, the 49ers Special Teams unit plays very sloppy. Can't tackle, block, or hold on to the football most of the time. Not to mention giving horrible field position for the offense to work with. All three phases of the 49ers have been a HUGE disappointment and it makes me ill.

The fact that ownership did not even TRY to interview other coaches at the end of Mike Singletary's interim coaching season just verifies what I've thought all along about the Yorks....They don't care about winning, or doing their due diligence to talk to coaches with proven track records, new philosophies and super bowl rings. The coaches that WERE available that ownership passed up on include, Mike Shanahan, Marty Shottenhiemer, John Gruden, Bill Parcels, Brian Billick and the list goes on.... The quarterbacks that they passed up on in favor of Alex Smith were Donovan MacNabb, Mike Vick, Vince Young, Brady Quinn, Brett Favre, and the list goes on.

Until the 49ers hire front office personnel that know what they are doing, can hire qualified assistants to improve the team at every position, coaches that can keep up and out smart opposing head coaches exotic game plans and run an offense that confuses opposing defenses and a General Manager that has been successful, no one will respect this team and the new stadium in Santa Clara will be an empty one.

I hope I'm wrong about all of this and the 49ers find a way to win some games and not become a joke like the Lions, Bills, and Browns organizations.

 Love and respect, Paris Stephens
